There is a focal pleural calcification on the right. That seems to correlate with the "haziness" on the right base seen on the CxR that could be mistaken for increased interstitial markings. Asbestos-related plaques may be asymmetric but there will usually be something on both sides. Hemothoraces and complicated para-pneumonic effusions may also lead to unilateral pleural calcifications though there is often more pleural thickening than on this CT scan.
