Follow-up to Wednesday CxR
Good pick-up by Mendez. The CxR has that L for a reason. This is a new patient with Kartagener's who is establishing local pulmonary care. She has chronic sinus disease but not much in the way of bronchiectasis. 
Cool case and CT scan.
ReplyDeleteAs a point of discussion, does anyone know if women with Kartagener's are less apt to be fertile?
I believe that men have difficulty with sperm motility, but was wondering if women have difficulty with fallopian tube cilia as well?
They do have trouble conceiving but are not infertile like men. This particular patient has 2 children.
