One of my COPD patients was asking me about purchasing a portable/travel concentrator such as this one.
Have you had much experience or feedback with portable oxygen concentrators?

These portable O2 concentrators are still fairly experimental. As the owner of a respiratory equipment repair facility, we see a lot of small mechanical failures still happening with them Battery life is also still an issue. There are several manufacturers of this equipment now. Inogen being one of them as well as Sequel, Oxlife, and a couple of others that aren't quite on the market yet.
If your patient can wait a while longer the technology will get better.
I have been using these portable oxygen concentrators for long time.I must say these are really convenient easy to handle and maintain while traveling.
